Who is the test for?
What do I need to know about the test?
The District 228
Honors Math 1 placement exam will include 55 multiple-choice questions that assess prerequisite skills necessary for success in the Integrated Pathway for Math 1. Students are permitted to use a scientific calculator on the exam (Texas Instruments TI-30 or similar model).
The District 228
Honors Math 2 placement exam will be a two-day exam. The initial exam will include 61 multiple-choice questions that assess prerequisite skills necessary for success in the Integrated Pathway for Math 2. Students are permitted to use a graphing calculator on the exam (Texas Instruments TI-84 or similar model). Students who score a 75% C or better will be invited to take a second day of examinations at a date TBD to earn placement in Honors Math 2.
